Nike+ on the cheap

Recently I picked up an Apple iPod nano 2GB, a pair of the Nike Air Max 180+ and the Nike + iPod Sport Kit with Armband. Luckily I got the Nike stuff from Eastbay @ 30% off and I also got the nano @ 25% off. But for those of you that want to try out the Nike+ experience and would like to save some money or have a certain brand preference other than Nike for your running shoes here is some nice options for you.



The first one is from a company called Marware. They have designed a neoprene pouch that straps to the laces of your favorite shoe. It's $9.95 and will be shipping on August, 30th. The product page is located here.



The second option is to use velcro. Yes, good old cheap velcro. Check out how to attach the Nike+ Sport Kit by "hacking" your favorite running shoe. Check out the article here.

OMFG

Totally cool. Rob King has written an application for Ableton Live that allows you to control AL using a PSP. Currently it is only for Windows but a Mac version is in the works. Check it out at Rob's site. Found via createdigitalmusic.com.

I picked up the Nike Air Max 180+ to replace my old Nike Shox for running. I also picked up the Nike + Sport Kit and armband. So far it's all pretty cool and working well.



At the same time I picked up these Nike AM360s. Eastbay.com had them for $110 and on top of that I was able to use a 30% off coupon. So I got my Nike+ stuff and these 360s for a decent deal.
